Shine

Howdy! Whatsup everybody? Me? Not much.... still hot as can be. My dad said that they are supposed to install the new air conditioner tomorrow so I hope they do it early. Preferably before I wake up. I can't stand the heat! That's one of the reasons i do not like summer time. Now heat is ok when you are at the beach or at the pool. But when you are at a place where there is no water except the shower, you are pretty much bummed out...

Soo... Today was pretty good. Church was fun I guess. Not much out of the ordinary going on unfortunately. After church I uploaded some of the video I shot at the concert. I made a playlist so I am going to try and embed it here:

I don't know about you but to me that sounded like something an 8 year old wrote, lol. That shows the maturity of this certain 10th grader. Now, i'm not encouraging anything... but if I wasn't me and I was a regular viewer of Slyth66's videos I'd send that dylanc29 a message showing him how much of a jerk he is. Just saying :)

So anyways, I talked with Gage until like 3AM last night, lol. We had a good talk though and shared somethings a little more personal with each other. I really wanted to thank you again Gage for telling me, it means a lot.

Jake got home from his campout today think but i haven't heard from him. I'm excited to hear about how it went so I hope to hear from him soon.

I talked to my girlfriend today and she's doing pretty good. She got her permit so she is really excited about that. Haha, I got mine before she got hers.

Faith, Family, and Freedom 2008!

Wow! That is all I can say. I just got back from the New Life 91.9 concert. It was amazing! Definitely the best concert I've been to. The bands all gave amazing performance and the Christian atmosphere was awesome! I definitely felt at home there. Britt Nicole gave a strong performance. I wasn't sure of who she was but once she started singing a bunch of her songs were familiar. I love her voice. I also didn't realize she was from the Carolinas! Cool! The Newsboys were excellent as well! Lol, I loved it when they added in "Drowning out the South Carolina rain" in their song "He Reigns". I took my video camera and got a few of the songs so I'll make sure to upload them ASAP!

Speaking of videos, I uploaded a new video yesterday. After taking a break from doing Titanic I realized just how fun they were! This is "One in a Million":


Anyways, just thought you might want to see it, lol.

The concert was pretty much the highlight of my day. I went to get my girlfriend's birthday present and then we picked up my brother and got pizza. We took the pizza to my stepmom's house and ate it there. Then we headed to the concert.

I'm gonna get off now because I'm pooped! Jake is on a campout this weekend and I hope it is going awesome for him! I wish I could be with him there.

Keep Breathing

Hey! Well, yet another day with no air conditioner. I was woken this morning by my dad and one of the AC guys outside my window. My dad said that we won't be able to get another one until Monday. Monday! That's like a whole weekend from now.

Oh well, good thing I'm gonna be out of the house for most of the weekend. In the morning I'm going to get my girlfriend's birthday present and then after that I'm going to the "Faith, Family, and Freedom Celebration" in Charlotte, NC. It's put on by a local radio station and this year the concert is for the Newsboys and Britt Nicole. They are both pretty popular Christian singers. The Newsboys are the ones who sing this song:

I love that song! Anyways, I'm pretty excited about that.

Today was pretty dull. I was planning on doing a video but the video editor I use doesn't have the effect I want. I tried downloading a few cracked versions of other programs but I couldn't find a working activation code for them. I'm still looking though.

I only played GTA IV for about 2 hours today. I don't want to wear it out as my dad puts it. I want to keep it interesting for a while. Besides, it's the only game we have right now.

I also talked to Gage for a little bit today. He's still in the hospital but he is doing better. Get well soon man!

Everyone have a good and peaceful night. I had another weird dream last night so I bet it's gonna happen yet again. If it's good enough I'll let yall in on my crazy thing I like to call my mind.

It's Getting Hot with No Air

Hey! I'm gonna do a short entry tonight. It's late and hot.

So yeah, our Air conditioner quit today. One of the hottest days of the year too. My dad called a man out to look at it and they said we need a new one because the compressor is burned up. We've had the same piece of junk one for 16 years. We have fans plugged in all around the house. I have my windows open and a fan on my desk but it is still really hot. Grr, I hate the heat! I'd rather freeze to death than die in the desert!

Gage had to go to the hospital yesterday because there was an infection where he had surgery. When I was talking to him last night he said he was in very bad pain and couldn't move. He called his younger brother and then his parents took him to the hospital. He is better today but they have to keep him for a few days to make sure the infection is completely gone. Just please keep him and his bro in your prayers still. I know they can make it through this.

I updated my MySpace with some info I normally wouldn't put on there. Most of my good friends know about it, just kinda embarassing. Lol, i changed my favorite shows to Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. It's true.... I watch Disney Channel.... a lot. It wasn't really a secret, just didn't feel like getting teased about something else so now that I'm getting away from certain freaks who want to be jerks I don't mind saying it. And no, you don't have to be gay to like Miley Cyrus. She is cool. Wow, lol that was weird posting. Just thought yall might want to know! By the way, yes I have a MySpace. However, it is set to private and I only add people who I know in real life so posting a link wouldn't really do you much good.

I'm gonna try and get to bed in this burning house! Wish me luck. Blagh!

Worthless Scouting

Hey guys!

Today was pretty cool. I got up and ate some cereal and then played Xbox for a while. We need to get another game before we go to the beach because with only one it gets kind of boring. We are thinking about Call of Duty 4 because I've heard that it is awesome. But GTA IV is still amazing.

Today was my girlfriend's birthday so I called her and talked to her around 3PM. We talked for about an hour and then I got online and talked to Gage and Dustin.

After a while I had to get offline and take a shower and get ready for scouts. When I was getting ready to get in the shower I pulled down the towel I always put on the floor so it doesn't get wet, and there was something crawling in it! I figured it was a roach because that is what I've seen in the bathroom before once. I called my dad and he came in and shook the towel and it turned out to be a freaking huge spider! Holy crap! I don't know if you people know this or not but I am terrified of spiders, even the tiny ones, lol. I only like them if they are in a jar or cage, even then they give me the chills. So I am a huge anti-spider person. Eww! I don't even like thinking about it!

At scouts I basically sat around the whole time. I turned in some of my paperwork for my Family Life Merit badge to my scout master and then hung around while the other guys got ready for summer camp. I got asked a bunch today by the guys why I wasn't going. This year the camp we are going to does not offer any badges that would be beneficial to me. They have swimming which is an Eagle Required one but I don't want to go just for that. I could work on that on my own time. Another reason which I found out later is the week we are going to camp is the same week I'm going to the beach with my family. So yeah, it's not because I'm loosing interest in scouts or anything, just don't have a real reason for paying so much money to not get much. But I hope the guys going have a great time.

So yeah, that's about it for me. I think I'm getting used to this new blog. It's not that it's easier, it just looks better and has more for what I want to do. Feel free to leave me comments about how you like it. I finally got my old journal backed up to my computer so if anything happens to it on my old account I still have it for personal reference.

My First Blogger Entry!

Hey guys, sorry for the mix up. I have now official moved from my Old Site to this new blog. I think I will have an easier time here plus since my main purpose for a site is for my blog, what better way than Blogger? You can still access my Old Site to review my older blog archives. I will be working on getting them archived to my computer as well in case anything happens to my FreeWebs account. They have been great over the years but I think this is much better since I am a "Blogger"!

I was waiting on Gage to come online before I finished this entry but I'll go ahead and do it now while I wait.

Today was pretty good. My dad woke me up early and I went with him to visit my grandparents. Then we stopped by the game store and my brother and I traded in our game systems and games. My personal total I got from mine was $170. That is a lot more than I expected to get. My brother and I ended up only having to pay $100 a piece for the Xbox 360 Pro system, a used wired controller, and Grand Theft Auto IV. I wanted a wired controller because I figured it might be easier for me to use plus I didn't want to worry about recharging the batteries every few days. When we got home I set up the system in the living room and my brother and I took turns playing. We will have to save up for a wireless adapter so we can connect to Xbox Live. We both set up our player IDs so I'll share that with yall when I get online with it.

I basically spent my whole day playing that, lol. I talked to Gage some as you can tell and I'm fixing to email Jake. This is my first official blogger entry, heck yes! Haha, everyone have a great night!
